"An Anthology of the Macabre from Film and Fiction"
This British mag covered the world of horror and sci-fi movies and TV from the classic Hollywood horrors to Hammer and Dr. Who. The mag featured interior color and horror fiction, as well as the usual film news and reviews. WoH came and went in less than a year.
Fantastic scans. I only have a few of these myself, but I really liked this magazine.
ReplyDeleteI don't have all of them, either, but ebay shall provide. (Now if it would just provide some nice scans of the "Monster Mag" issues I don't have!)
ReplyDeleteOne of my absolute favourite monster movie magazines! A True Brit classic!
ReplyDeleteThis mag was from 1974/75, not 1972
ReplyDeleteOops! My mistake. Thanks for catching that, Alan!
DeleteYou're welcome, Mike. Great page, by the way!
DeleteThanks! Glad to see people still visiting!
DeleteI have issues 1 to 8. I bought them as teenager. Absolutely love them still!
ReplyDeleteI have the whole set and it featured some cards from my A&BC Gum Outer limits and Topps Monster midgee's. I submitted these to the mags head quarters in Wardour Street and they kept my cards and did not return them. Not a nice bunch as I was only a kid at the time. Grrrrrr.
ReplyDeleteTHERE IS A SET OF 9 UP FOR SALE ON EBAY 30 /01/18
ReplyDeleteLike the vast majority of these magazines, by now these are public domain and are all available for viewing/downloading at https://archive.org/
