Quasimodo's Monster Magazine

Incorporating Monster World
Mayfair Publications, Inc.
Editor: Tony Tallarico
March 1975 - May 1976

Mayfair magazines were the Charlton's of the '70s. Cheaply produced copies of whatever was hot, just to get a share of the market. Monster World (title changed to Quasimodo's Monster Magazine with the 3rd issue) and Mayfair's other monster mag, Monster Fantasy, were published on alternate month schedules until the end of Monster Fantasy's four issue run. In it's last few issues, QMM played it's subject matter strictly for laughs. Cover art was fairly well done, though inconsistently so.

  2. The thumbnails have expired, but if you click on them, the larger images are still there.

These covers are from 1975-1976, but the design of them mostly look like they were done in an earlier era, circa early/mid 1960's. I like the issue 8 cover the best.
