Magazine distributor Acme puts out their own monster mag and does a good job of it. Shriek! concentrated almost exclusively on the then current horror movie scene, with well written articles, interviews and lots of well reproduced photos. Credits page says "Designed and produced by the House of Horror, London, for Acme News Co., Inc." Yet another mag with an unknown staff and unknown cover artists.

I just recently got all 4 issues and at a great price. #1 is in incredibly good shape

ReplyDeleteI think Shriek! would get more respect if it had better cover art. It's not a bad mag, really!
